Our babies are just that, our babies. They live in the house year around, sleep in the bed with us, are free to roam throughout the house all day, take turns going to work with me, etc. We are not a kennel that leaves our babies outside. Below is a picture of our house where your future baby spends the first 8 weeks of their lives at and above is pictures of us with some of our babies.
About our 8 Babies:
All puppies are second generation shiranians. Lilly our chocolate female weighs in at 5 lbs and is from Arkansas, Dahlia our blue merle female weighs in at 8 lbs and is from Chattanooga, Tennessee. Interesting fact about Dahlia is I purchased her from Earl Scruggs granddaughter. Now for those of yall that do not know, Earl Scruggs is the man that sings The Beverly Hillbilly's into! Lulu is our blonde female weighing 6 lbs and is one of our own. Pheoby is our blue and white female weighing 5 lbs from Gastonia, NC. Daisy is our strawberry blonde female weighing 7 lbs from Springport, MI. Cooper, our red and white male weighs in at 7 lbs and is from North Carolina, Dakota is our blue merle weighing 3 lbs from Chattanooga, TN and Lewie, our Black and tan male is 6 lbs from Los Angeles, CA. We love our babies very much as you can see throughout the site.
About the Breed:
Shiranians are very sweet and playful dogs, they need love and attention as they are cuddlers. They are also hypoallergenic and require less grooming than other long hair dogs. Their hair does not knot up under normal situations as long as you bathe them at least once a month and brush them afterwards.
What your New Puppy Comes With:
Puppies will come with age appropriate shots, CKC Registration and pictures from the puppies professional photo shoot emailed to you. If your puppy has a favorite toy, we will send that to their new home as well. Our puppies go to Companion Animal Hospital in Athens, GA. You can reach them during normal business hours if you have any questions.
What to Expect When You Get Your New Baby Home:
You will want to have a puppy area ready when you bring your new baby home. In this area you will want to have a crate, bedding, chew toys and food and water bowls. You will also need to have your puppies current food which will be Purina One puppy chow with a little Blue canned puppy food.
Your puppy will cry the first night or two, ALOT. They have never been alone so they get lonely. I do not suggest letting your puppy sleep with anyone though for a while. First reason is they are so small you could hurt them while you sleep and second reason is they might have to go to the bathroom and you could be sleeping in it by morning!
Spend as much time loving and training your puppy as you can. I have attached a link below to help with crate training if that is how you choose to train your new puppy. I highly recommend crate training! Teach your puppy to walk on a leash, sit, wear clothes, etc. so that your puppy becomes the perfect baby for you and your family.
